1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of red5chat.com (the “Site”) and of the live chat room it gives access to. The Site is published by Proxymis Multimédia (see the legal notice). By using the Site, you accept these terms.
2. Access to the Site
The Site is free and available at any time, except during maintenance, outages or events beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may change or close any part of the Site.
3. Live chat room
The demo chat is provided by Dialogoo. By joining it, you also accept the Dialogoo terms.
The room is public: your nickname, messages and, if you turn them on, your webcam and microphone are visible to the other participants. Never share personal information you don’t want to make public.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the live chat.
4. Code of conduct
In the chat, it is forbidden to post or broadcast:
- illegal content, or content inciting violence, hatred or discrimination;
- harassment, threats or insults;
- sexual or pornographic content, and any content involving minors;
- other people’s personal data, or images of people without their consent;
- advertising, spam, malicious links or software;
- impersonation of another person or of a moderator.
5. Moderation and reporting
Moderators may delete messages, remove or ban a user, at any time and without notice, if these terms are broken.
To report illegal content or behaviour, write to [email protected] with the date, time, room and nickname concerned. We act promptly on any report and cooperate with the authorities when the law requires it.
6. Liability
Each user is solely responsible for what they post or broadcast. Proxymis Multimédia does not check content before it is published, but removes manifestly illegal content as soon as it is reported.
The information on the Site is provided for general purposes. Proxymis Multimédia cannot be held liable for damage resulting from the use of the Site, interruptions of service or the content of external sites.
7. Personal data
How we handle personal data and cookies is explained in our cookies and privacy policy.
8. Intellectual property
The Site’s texts, logo and design are protected. You may not reproduce them without written permission from Proxymis Multimédia.
9. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The version that applies is the one online when you use the Site.
10. Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be brought before the courts of Lille, France, unless mandatory consumer protection rules provide otherwise.
